today’s my birthday. which has thus far been celebrated by the following:
- interviewing for a part-time job at the Park City Wild Oats
- registering a new domain and launching the Think Tank Studios web design site
- uploading a buttload of pictures of gavin (and lilah) that were never uploaded to flickr since we’re superspiffy Pro members now.
the interview went well. the theory is to do that as a part time gig while doing the graphic design stuff at home. it should be good because we might not have to worry as much about insurance. the bad side is it’s in Park City which is about a 20 minute drive (speeding) up the mountains. and it’s a resort town whose main economy is the fantastic skiing which means…lots of snow. so it’ll suck in the winter. but that might be dealable, especially if it’s only a couple days a week.
the new domain and site launch is for our in-house web design project. outside of the freelance gig i’ve got, i wanted to do something on our own that would give us more freedom (and money) while probably being less regular. i plan on doing a google adwords campaign in the future, but for now it’s pretty vanilla, i haven’t submitted it to search engines or anything yet. i just finished the site this morning. you can see it at www.thinktank-studio.com. as of now, we’re open for business.
and the pics are stuff that we never uploaded and fill in a major print gap that we’ve had which will help with g’s baby book.
