Rails…

with some hacking and clever googling i think i’ve installed everything i need for RubyOnRails.  i’m not positive though, and i won’t really know for sure until i start really hacking my first program.  i had to find several different installation howtos to be sure i did everything.  i’m pretty sure the ubuntu community documentation for rails is kind of crap, or at least needs some help/updating, but the official rails wiki is very well-maintained and has lots of good info (like installing rails on ubuntu).
