Hi, I’m Chris
I make websites and things. Lately, I’ve been experimenting a lot with Large Language Models (colloquially known as AI) to test their capabilities and to help make my job and D&D Dungeon Mastering life easier. Feel free to click around to learn more about stuff I like to do and/or am working on.

Welcome adventurer, I’m Chris
I make websites and things. Lately, I’ve been experimenting a lot with Large Language Models (colloquially known as AI) to test their capabilities and to help make my job and D&D Dungeon Mastering life easier. In fact, if you’re reading this, I’m probably playing Dungeons & Dragons (or some other TTRPG) right now! Feel free to click around to learn more about stuff I like to do and/or am working on.
嗨,我是 Chris

birthday post, interview, and new website
today’s my birthday. which has thus far been celebrated by the following: interviewing for a part-time job at the Park City Wild Oats registering a new domain and launching the Think Tank Studios web design site uploading a buttload of pictures of gavin (and lilah) that were never uploaded to flickr since we’re superspiffy Pro…

the suprising relationship between pirating and purchasing
i found this snippet on slashdot today, which says that p2p downloaders (read: music pirates) buy more music according to a study commissioned by the Canadian government (more and more i’m thinking that, despite popular american opinion, canadians RAWK). now this is something i’ve known for years, because it’s precisely the case for me. with…

niggy tardust / belated pumpkin
the new saul williams album was released yesterday, so i downloaded my copy yesterday morning and converted the flacs to mp3s so i could listen to it at work, and then burned the flacs to cd later to put it in the car. _____________________________________________ woah, that reminds me of a thing i saw posted to…

the sick horror
my new horrible drivers’ license came yesterday. and since i am sick (no, i did not dodge that bullet :( ), it seems like perfect timing to attempt a re-enactment. unfortunately, i was right when i looked at it and said “i wouldn’t be able to reproduce that face if i tried.” so, yeah, i’m…

so here it is. the first edition of PictureAndABlog — it’s kind of like dinner and a movie except with less sexual tension… there. isn’t that exciting? gavin’s really sick. he started getting sick when my ‘rents were here last week but we thought he was just being overly fussy. he sounded really crappy tonight. …

the gavin blog is officially now ‘kidsblog’. at some point in the future i will make you all change your bookmarks to kids.jazzsequence.com (hmmm…maybe i should change that to kidsof.jazzsequence.com…..), because as it stands now the home page is kids.jazzsequence but any of the links redirect back to /gavin…for now, however it stands as it…

jazzsequence subdomains and revised error pages
so i configured some (more) virtual hosts in apache and redid my custom error pages. the error pages got reset after apache got updated recently, so i had to redo them. you can see a 403 forbidden error here and a 404 not found error here. and i also set up the following subdomains: music.jazzsequence.com…

saul williams / post-vasectomy / possible future blogproject
i blogged yesterday about saul williams’ new album, but as trent says on nin.com, unlike radiohead, his is not a household name (yet). saul williams is an amazing black performance poet. he’s possibly best known for his anti-bush rant, “not in my name” or, alternately, he was in the independent film slam (or so wikipedia…
